Post subject: Detection System Reply with quote
Hi all

I/We have gotten some funds for the next years, some to be used on " try to improve the total IHC-protocol(s)".

Uhm
Seems like my preferred detectionsystem to mouse antibodies is slacking a bit (atm) - dont know why yet.
Just wanted some recommandations of a really good anti mouse detectionsystem, if you got any.
happy thanksgiving Wink

I am not sure what you mean with an anti-mouse system, do you mean mouse-on-mouse? If not, I am pretty happy with our anti-mouse antibodies from Jackson (biotinylated, or fluorescence labeled with DyLight fluorochromes. If you really mean mouse-on-mouse, is this really good? The ones I used never gave me a endogenous Ig free staining (meaning I always see staining of my plasmacells in lymphoid organs.
best

Im sorry Jan
Just a detectionsystem that react with mouse monoclonal antibodies.
Im working with human tissue. All works fine, for years. It just seems my anti mouse IG detection system is slacking a bit, for a reason not yet know.

Ty for your reply

Always a drag if your system suddenly fails. As I said, we use Jackson-antibodies (host always donkey, so that we don´t have problems in case of double or triple stainings. We always use the antibodies which are absorbed against the other species so that we have as little as posibble cross-reaction. For instance donkey-anti-mouse (min X Bov, Ck, Gt, GP, Sy Hms, Hrs, Hu,
Rb, Rat, Shp Sr Prot). See list at:
