most Abs that we buy are in buffer.
No serum.
So...forget using Goat etc Serum to dilute your Abs.
Sure, if you make your own polyclonal Abs...then the preimmune serum is important...FROM THE SAME RABBIT, pre-immune;-)
Them days are gone...
Why?
Because many Abs are Immunopurified.
Also....no point in pre-adsorbing your Ab with immuno. peptide...it will always work.
Peptide is different from any Ag in a section of tissue.
